What is an Owner's Representative?
An Owner's Representative is an Owner’s advocate; someone who represents and protects your interest, your investment and your plan. As an independent construction professional, retained by an investor, a developer, or a business owner, the Owner's Rep acts on their behalf in all business dealings with regard to the construction project: from gathering the project team, to design and constructability review, to taking charge of all facets of the project.
He/She represents the Owner's best interest in negotiations with contractors, vendors, municipalities, agencies, and any service provider involved with the project.
